Meet The Owners
Tickets are now available for the bi-annual ‘Meet The Owners’ event at the Keepmoat Stadium on Thursday 4th February 2016 (7pm), located in the East Stand and, as usual, the DRSG will be Tweeting from the event live for those that can’t make it.
The free event which will take place on Thursday 4th February 2016 (7-8pm) will provide fans with their first opportunity to field questions to First Team Manager Darren Ferguson, who will be flanked by CEO Gavin Baldwin and the DRFC board of directors. In the hour before the event fans will be able to view the kit designs which have been shortlisted for the kit design competition.
Tickets can be obtained from the Keepmoat Stadium Ticket Office or by calling 01302 762576.
If you can’t make it follow the DRSG Twitter for a live feed on the night.
Following on from our work with Centreplate and Doncaster Rovers through the summer which has already seen the arrival of a Pie, Peas and Gravy deal available in every stand, an increased selection of condiments and a full review of range and quality across the whole Stadium we’ve now turned our focus to sustainability.
To ensure the standard and quality we should expect as supporters are upheld throughout the season, the DRSG are delighted to announce that in partnership with Centreplate, we will be running a Mystery Shopper for the entirety of the 2015/2016 season, including any Cup games.
The scheme will be reviewed monthly with a representative of the DRSG, Centreplate and the club present to discuss any feedback received and to collate any other feedback submitted to us about the refreshment kiosks at the Keepmoat.
To ensure the process is transparent, a representative of the DRSG will approach someone in the queue either pre game or at half time and talk to them about what is required. This will be a different concourse and a different kiosk game by game. They will be required to purchase one hot food item and one beverage. On completion of the survey (documented in the brief we provide) we will provide you with a voucher to redeem your hot food item and beverage (age restriction applies to alcoholic drinks).
Should you wish to assist us in making the match experience a better place, please send an email stating your name and the Stand you usually sit in to email@example.com
The Committee of the Doncaster Rovers Supporters Group (DRSG) recently met following the inaugural AGM and decided the following:
The DRSG Committee voted in favour of the fellow members being appointed officers of the Society:
- Lee Croft has been appointed Chair
- Wesley Grimes has been appointed Secretary
- Neil Taylor has been appointed IT Officer
- Lewis Grimes has been appointed Vice-Chair
- Rob Johnson has been appointed Officer for PR and Communications
- Members without portfolio: Levi Werrett and John Fleming
As the DRSG currently has minimal incoming and outgoing cash-flow, the committee voted in favour of not appointing a treasurer until such a time dictates.
The DRSG plan to host a football tournament soon, with the aim of raising enough cash to sponsor a player for the 2015/16 season. The DRSG will be entering a side of their own, anyone who is interested in registering their interest to play for the DRSG can email info@Doncasterroverssupportersgroup.org
DRSG AGM 2015
The DRSG Interim Committee are pleased to announce that the Society’s first Annual General Meeting has been scheduled for Sunday 3rd May 2015 at 3PM, which will follow immediately after the Rovers’ final game of the Season vs Scunthorpe.
All of our members are invited to the AGM, which will take place at the Hyde Park W.M.C, Nelson Street, Doncaster, South Yorkshire DN4 5AD. All Rovers fans are also welcome to attend and there will be the opportunity to join the DRSG for free on the day!
We will publish our agenda a little later this week but we would like to take this opportunity to remind our members that a vote will need to take place to ratify the Rules of the Society (which can be read here) as well as elections taking place for fans that would like to sit on the Committee.
If you are interested in becoming a Committee member, or would like to suggest a motion (including amendments to the rules) or our AGM, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
