Rovers supporters on Twitter voted Tom Anderson as their man of the match following his performance against Stockport County in Sky Bet League Two.
The skipper produced a commanding display at the heart of defence to help Danny Schofield’s side earn a clean sheet at Edgeley Park.
Anderson collected 43% of the vote, with goalkeeper Jonathan Mitchell, who produced two fine saves to deny Ryan Rydel and Kyle Wootton, following closely in second.
Midfield duo Charlie Lakin and Harrison Biggins were also included, after playing their part in Rovers battling to a goalless draw against the Hatters.
