Doncaster Rovers are currently recruiting for an experienced and well connected candidate to support the Academy in the identification of local and regional talent in the role of part time Academy Recruitment Officer at Doncaster Rovers Football Club.
Reporting to the head of Academy recruitment and Academy manager, the successful candidate will strategically identify potential junior elite players, whilst continuing to grow our positive reputation for player development and seek innovative ways to identify players capable of reaching their full potential within the Academy department.
The role will need to deliver and implement the wider club strategic plan as well as ensure that players families are supported in the early stages of trials; whilst keeping with the FA & EFL rules for the approaching of young players up to the age of 16. It is expected that the majority of this work will be undertaken during the weekends and evening, but the candidate should be flexible to attend rare meetings during the afternoon and play a part in key academy decision making processes.
We are looking for a committed professional, who is knowledgeable and local to the region we are able to recruit from. The successful candidate will already be established within a similar role, and able to clearly evidence their working knowledge of youth, development and grassroots leagues and organisations.
