Club Doncaster is the brand that connects Doncaster’s elite sports teams and manages the delivery of events at Doncaster’s Eco-Power Stadium, and associated Elite Performance Centre and Sports Park.

The facility itself expands beyond match day. We are a hub for the community and multi-sports venue, we pride ourselves on working together across the Club Doncaster family to engage and host our local teams and activities.

We are looking for a reliable, skilled, and calm Operations Coordinator, to work as a part of a small team across the stadium footprint. The successful candidate will support the Operations team in all aspects of service delivery, playing a key part in the the day to day management of onsite activities.  

Applicants should be hard working, committed and have a keen interest in growing the Club Doncaster reputation and brand across all sports and the local community.

The role

The operations coordinator will be responsible for the practical and administration of facility management and operational aspect of the stadium. They will work in conjunction with the maintenance department, and support the Operations Manager to ensure the effectiveness of service functions such as cleaning, safety & building requirements.

The successful applicant will be expected to have a keen eye for detail, and will be required to demonstrate excellent customer service and maintain all areas of the stadium and its execution to the highest standard of service at all times.

Successful applicants should have some understanding of facilities management in a leisure facility, or elite sports environment, and be able to support the growth and sustainability of the department to its fullest potential grasping new opportunities and maintaining excellent existing relationships.

Skills required

  • Experience of administration / working within facilities management  
  • Experience in delivering a high level of customer service  
  • Ability to manage conflicting and changing priorities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Have excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience in maintenance and domestics tasks  

Personal qualities

  • Be able to work in a professional and responsible manner when dealing with a variety of Management levels and departments.
  • Punctual and have an excellent record of attendance.
  • Willing to learn and committed to achieving high standards within their work.
  • Flexible in their approach to working hours
  • Ability to manage and maintain excellent external and internal working relationships
