Farai Hallam has been appointed as referee for Rovers’ final day trip to Walsall this Bank Holiday Monday.
The Surrey-based official has taken charge of 31 matches this term but this will be his first in the EFL, with the majority of his games coming in the National League South. He has issued 107 yellow cards over those games but is yet to brandish the red card this season.
As this will be Hallam’s first EFL match, it will also be the first time the Englishman has officiated a game involving Rovers, having only made his refereeing debut in professional football last season.
Hallam will be assisted by Leigh Crowhurst and Michael Webb on Monday while Paul Howard has been assigned fourth official duties.
