Alfie May has thanked the Rovers fans for their support after completing a move to Cheltenham Town to end his three-year spell at the club.
The forward made the move from non-league Hythe Town in January 2016, and leaves having hit 23 senior goals for the club.
He said: “I have loved my time here, I’ve met some team-mates who will be my friends for life and I have to say thank you to all the staff who have helped me throughout my time here.
“Coming to Doncaster and turning me into a Yorkshireman gave me a future wife and a beautiful baby boy on the way. This is an emotional ending as Doncaster gave me the opportunity to become a professional footballer which was my dream.
“Thank you to all the fans who have been there supporting and singing my name, it has been amazing. You will always have a place in my heart.”
