Rovers supporters on Twitter voted George Miller as their man of the match following his performance against Crawley Town.
The No.9 scored twice after half-time to take his tally for the season to five, and secure Rovers their first league win since the end of August.
It was a closely fought contest for second place, with winger Kyle Hurst just about edging it after his fine individual goal late on.
Midfielder Ben Close came third after getting another 76 minutes under his belt, while Joseph Olowu, who got his first goal of the season to put Rovers in front in the game, came fourth.
